Thoroton Society Record Series
The Society publishes as an occasional series editions of historical documents relating to Nottinghamshire which are of outstanding local or national importance. These comprise transcripts of the original texts together with learned introductions by specialist editors.
Subscriptions to the Record Series are additional to those for the main Society, and details may be found under About the Society.

- The estate and household accounts of Henry, 2nd Duke of Newcastle, compiled by his steward Thomas Farr, 1676-91, illuminating the lifestyle of his great houses of Welbeck Abbey and Nottingham Castle.
